TheSociety.com is serious about protecting the privacy of our owners, property managers, realtors, and our visitors. We use the information collected about you only to process and bill orders and to make our website more useful and valuable for you. We respect the privacy of those use our site. Our privacy policy is stated below. If you do leave The Society’s website you are no longer covered by this policy.
This statement discloses the privacy practices for the www.TheSociety.com website and informs you about:

1. What personal information is collected?
You may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you: (a) register for the site, (b) register for free newsletters, (c) register for free email services, (d) book a reservation, (e) make an inquiry about a vacation rental property and related services; (f) send email messages, submit forms or send other information to us; and/or (g) subscribe to receive services. You may also be required to provide us with certain personal information of other person(s) staying with you at a property, and you must ensure that each of these other persons has authorized you to disclose their personal information to us. We may collect personal information from you at other points on our site that state that personal information is being collected. We may also receive certain personal information from some of our co-branded third party partners. In the event of a complaint, we may also receive personal information about you from other parties in our network or from other users or third parties who may communicate information to us about you in relation to that complaint.
In addition, our servers automatically collect information about which sites users visit and which pages are viewed within the www.TheSociety.com website, but in these instances, we do not obtain personal information about you. The major exception to this practice is that if you provide information to us in connection with a vacation property you wish to rent, we may share your information with the owner/manager of the property (“Property Manager”). This Privacy Policy does not address the activities or policies of any Property Manager or other third parties. We do not sell your email address or your name and personal demographic information to mass marketers, however, on particular pages where we ask for your personally identifiable information, we may explicitly tell you that the data we are collecting on that page will be shared with third parties, in which case those disclosures shall override anything to the contrary in this policy. For example, before you submit answers to questions we ask in an advertiser-sponsored promotion, we will tell you that your answers will be shared with that advertiser.
In some cases, we use your personally identifiable information to provide information to you, such as to send to you requested newsletters or to provide to you requested services.
In some situations, we share your personally identifiable information with third parties who provide services to our site in order to enhance the functionality available to you on our website, and to provide you with new products and services. We use third party vendors to conduct and/or facilitate a survey of our clients and customers to obtain information on our services.

5. How to correct, update or delete your personal information.
You can access and update your personal information, including changing your subscriptions to our email newsletters and opting out of receiving email about our services, by emailing us at info[at]thesociety.com Even if you delete or change some personal information in our registration database, it may still be stored on other databases (including those kept for archival purposes).
6. Our security procedures.
We have established and maintain reasonable security procedures to protect the confidentiality, security and integrity of your personal information. “Perfect security,” however, does not exist on the Internet.
